In the Press: Vocal Freedom Program
After spending 16+ years in the coaching/therapy/healing space, one of my biggest passions is observing and witnessing human behaviour.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of sitting down with the legendary @jim_bostock from the Bostock Institute and his #vocalfreedomprogram community to talk all things trauma and it’s impact on human behaviour.
Jim and I share the same beliefs in that our life’s experiences, stories and programming, and the emotions and feelings connected to them, have a huge impact in how we show up in the world, particularly with neural disorders. Here’s what we touched on:
-The definition of trauma
-The inherent needs of a child and how this impacts mind and body development
-How our wounds of the past show up in the present which can influence, and in many cases dominate, our present reactions and behaviours
-How to begin healing trauma/wounding with a holistic approach - Mind/Body/Spirit.
I want to acknowledge Jim and the work he is doing in this space, raising awareness to conditions such as spasmodic dysphonia.
